Grab a Sandwich
Two sandwiches, both born here. The po-boy, on French bread that shatters when you bite it, goes back to 1929, and locals will tell you most kids in town ate one before they ever had peanut butter and jelly. The muffuletta came out of a Sicilian grocery on Decatur Street in the early 1900s.
