About
A counter-service butcher shop on Tchoupitoulas where five full-time butchers make the cured meats, so the muffuletta is stacked with house-made genoa, mortadella and capicola. In January 2026 the Michelin Guide named it one of the best sandwiches in North America.
The bread comes in fresh every day from sister bakery La Boulangerie. It's walk-in only, no reservations, and open daily from 11 to 10; you can also order ahead for pickup or delivery. If you want a sit-down dinner instead, Cochon, the restaurant next door, is the one to book.
