The muffuletta here comes warm, so the provolone and Swiss go soft into the house olive salad, on a seeded Italian loaf from Napoleon House's own bakery. Get a whole, a half or a quarter, and a Pimm's Cup, which the bar says it was the first in America to pour.
The filling is ham, Genoa salami and pastrami with Swiss and provolone. Napoleon House doesn't take reservations; just walk in. Its site lists it as open daily from 11 to 10. The place has been in the Impastato family's hands since 1914, and it still plays classical music.
