The roast pork counter inside Reading Terminal Market, from a family that started selling pork sandwiches out of a South Philly butcher's garage. Get the pork sliced or Italian-style pulled, with sharp provolone, broccoli rabe and long hots.
Its roast pork was named Best Sandwich in America on the Travel Channel in 2013, and the line shows it; the sandwich is worth the wait. Tommy Nicolosi runs the stand with his son Joey, the family's fourth generation in the business. It's open Monday through Saturday, 9 to 5, and closed Sundays.
