A South 9th Street pizzeria whose cheesesteak became the one people line up for. The seeded roll is baked in-house, the steak is shredded and the cheese is Cooper Sharp. Get there early and be ready to wait outside.
It's open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 to 7, and closed Monday and Tuesday. While you're waiting, decide on a pizza too: the Upside Down pie is the other thing people order here. The Michelin Guide gave it a Bib Gourmand in 2025. There's a second Angelo's in Wilmington, Delaware.
