A Vietnamese restaurant in Brentwood whose menu also carries the St. Paul sandwich. It's the St. Paul that Food Network picked for Missouri, so it's an easy first one if you've never had the egg foo young sandwich.
The St. Paul is an egg foo young patty with dill pickle, white onion and mayo between slices of white bread. Mai Lee's menu page pictures it next to its bánh mì. When Food Network named the best sandwich in each state in 2020, its Missouri pick was Mai Lee's St. Paul, as the Riverfront Times reported.
Hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 11 to 9, closed Monday. Reservations are only taken for groups of eight or more.
