A family-run burger and sandwich counter on Tenth Avenue whose chopped cheese isn't on the menu: ask for "Chacho's." It comes on a soft bun instead of the usual bodega roll, with pickled jalapeños cutting through the beef and cheese.
The rest of the menu is smash burgers, chili cheese fries, funnel cake fries and milkshakes, so it's an easy stop before a show or after work in Hell's Kitchen. The owners describe the place as carrying on their father's way of looking after people.
