A family-run hot chicken shop in a strip mall a few minutes from the airport; the family opened its first restaurant in 2017. It's named for the chicken, but the catfish sandwich is the one to get: spiced, fried fillets with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, tartar and the house BJ sauce.
The catfish comes as a combo of two sandwiches with a side and a drink. Sauces aren't mixed, so pick one. It's handy if you've just landed at BNA, and there's parking right in the lot. The family also runs BJ's on Nolensville Pike and in Hendersonville, Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Goodlettsville.
