The Calle Ocho landmark that has been feeding Cuban Miami since 1971. The house Cuban stacks sweet ham, roast pork and Swiss with mustard and pickles on pressed Cuban bread, and there's a bigger "Special" version if you're hungry.

If you only want a coffee and a quick bite, skip the dining room and go to La Ventanita, the walk-up window on the side of the building where people gather over cafecito and conversation. For the full sit-down meal, the mirrored dining room is the main event. Versailles also ships its Cuban sandwiches nationwide through Goldbelly.
