An Uptown restaurant on 17th Avenue doing American regional cooking. For the Denver order, get the Green Chile Cheeseburger, with Hatch chiles and American cheese on a brioche bun. If you'd rather have a smash burger, the Crunch Burger comes with griddled onions, pickles and special sauce on a pressed bun.
The name comes from a Boston restaurant and nightclub on Boylston Street, opened in 1945 by the owner's great-uncles. It hosted big bands and jazz until the 1960s. The Denver Steuben's is independent and locally owned. Burgers are part of the happy-hour deal, and the patty melt on marbled rye is worth knowing about too. It opens at 9 on weekends for brunch.
