Margarito Pérez's former food truck, now a taquería on North Lamar a few blocks south of Airport Boulevard. The Infatuation calls its torta "near-perfect": toasted bread, a thick layer of meat, melted cheese, refried beans, grilled jalapeño and onion, and mayo spiked with Valentina.
The Infatuation's pick is the carnitas. The Austin Chronicle's critics named Paprika the Best Place to Down Suadero in Best of Austin 2026, and their advice was simple: get the torta. Its own website still gives the old truck spot at 6519 N Lamar; the restaurant is at 6539.
