A small local chain doing Cuban-American fast food, co-founded by fast-food veteran Jorge Llapur. The menu tags the Cuban Frita as its favorite: a seasoned beef patty with onion and very crispy shoestring potatoes on a Cuban roll.
When Cuban Guys opened, Miami New Times covered it as one side of a "frita war" with chef Alberto Cabrera's Frita Shop. The papitas are the thing people mention: they stay crisp under the bun. There are several branches around the county; this one is on West Flagler.
