An Uptown lunch spot where the chopped brisket sandwich is one of the most popular orders. They bust the brisket up on the block while you watch, toast the bun, and give you about a third of a pound of meat.
The warm sauce has little bits of smoked brisket in it. Raw onion and tomato relish are on hand, plus two kinds of dill pickle chips: a thin, tart one and a thicker, milder one. Take some of each. It's a lunch place, so don't plan on an evening visit.
