A whole-animal butcher shop on Maple Street in downtown Danvers that makes its North Shore three-way from top round, roasted and sliced by hand. Roast beef is a Saturday-only sandwich here, and locals know to come early.
Warren Means and Lisa Nichols opened the shop in Newburyport in February 2019 and moved it into a former Dunkin' at 36 Maple St. in Danvers in spring 2023 (Boston.com, Dec 30, 2022; Northshore Magazine, Mar 15, 2023).
The three-way is the classic North Shore build: white American cheese and James River barbecue sauce over pink beef (Northshore Magazine, Oct 30, 2025). The meat case is worth a look while you wait; Northshore Magazine (Mar 15, 2023) reports that all of the meat is raised within 150 miles of the North Shore.
