A lobster dealer in business since 1925 that runs a no-frills lunch counter at its Atlantic Avenue shop. You order past the live lobsters and get a hot-dog bun packed with meat, dressed with a little mayo. Boston Magazine named it 2025's best casual lobster roll.
Skipping the mayo? Ask for the extra cup of melted butter. There's seating inside, outside and in a heated enclosure, and the fish market side ships lobsters overnight if you want to take the idea home. Open 10 to 5 Monday through Saturday and 10 to 4 on Sundays.
