Outta Sight Pizza – Tenderloin
About
A Tenderloin slice shop on Larkin Street that bakes its own bread, which is why its sandwiches are worth a detour from the pizza. The Italian Combo is the one to get: mortadella, coppa and ham with provolone and a basil aioli on house ciabatta.
Sandwiches came later than the pizza here, but The Infatuation's review calls the Italian Combo "a stuffed knockout": cold cuts, shredded lettuce, pickles and red onion, finished with basil mayo and a splash of red wine vinegar. If you're feeding a crowd, the shop's catering menu sells the same combo as a party sub on house ciabatta. The Larkin Street shop is open every day from 11 to 9 and closes on most major holidays; there's a second Outta Sight in Chinatown on Clay Street.
