A sit-down Vietnamese spot on West 19th in the Heights whose bánh mì take liberties. The one people come back for is the bo kho dip: braised beef shank on a baguette with a cup of the stew's broth for dunking, French-dip style.
Every sandwich gets mayo, cucumber, jalapeño and pickled vegetables, so the fillings do the talking: lemongrass pork, honey-lime chicken, a cold cut with Viet ham, pâté and pork belly, or a spicy fried chicken with satay. Weekdays the kitchen closes between lunch and dinner, so check the hours before you go.
