The Ritchie Highway branch of East Baltimore's Chaps, south of the city in Anne Arundel County. Chaps cooks its beef over a charcoal fire and slices it thin onto a potato roll, with its horseradish sauce, BBQ sauce, onions and pickles.
You can walk in, or order ahead through Chaps' Quick Pickup, DoorDash or Grubhub. Chaps also does pit turkey and ham. Like the original, it opens at 10:30 every day except Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas; closing times vary, so call before a late run.
