The Parkville flagship of the crab cake house Greek immigrant Mark Pappas opened in an old steakhouse in the early 1970s; Oprah once posted its crab cake as her favorite. The sandwich is the 8-ounce house cake on a fresh brioche roll with lettuce, tomato and fries.
The crab cake sandwich is on Pappas's online ordering menu. If you can't choose between crab and shrimp, the Seafood Club stacks a 4-ounce crab cake over shrimp salad on three slices of white toast, or open-faced. There are three more Pappas restaurants, in Cockeysville, Glen Burnie and Bel Air, and the crab cakes ship nationwide.
