Truett Cathy opened this diner as the Dwarf Grill in 1946, and it's where he worked out the Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich, settling on the recipe in 1964. It was rebuilt and reopened in 2022, keeping the little red door, the dwarf mural and 14 of the original counter stools.

Sit at the counter and order the original sandwich. The menu also has dishes you won't find at a regular Chick-fil-A, like burgers, mac and cheese, collard greens and pie. It's a few minutes from the airport, and it's closed Sundays like every Chick-fil-A.
