Where to Buy a Rolex Submariner in New York, Miami and Dallas
Our Chicago guide covers the seven official retailers around Chicagoland. Now that New York, Miami and Dallas are live on the site, here's the same rundown for those three cities.
One rule first: a store only counts as an Official Rolex Retailer if Rolex's own retailer locator lists it. Every store below passed that check. A new watch from any of them comes with Rolex's five-year international guarantee.

A note on Fifth Avenue: Wempe, long a Rolex address at 700 Fifth Ave, no longer sells Rolex. Don't make the trip for a Submariner.

How to actually get one
The process is the same in every city. Steel Submariners are among the most requested watches Rolex makes, so expect to register your interest rather than walk out with one.
- Know your reference. Submariner (no date) or Submariner Date? Tell the associate exactly which one you want.
- Pick one or two stores and stay with them. Each store has its own allocation, and a relationship with one associate goes further than scattered visits to five.
- Check in politely, not constantly. Every few weeks is plenty.
- Consider Rolex Certified Pre-Owned. These are second-hand watches checked by the retailer and backed by a Rolex guarantee. If the wait for a new one is long, ask what's in the case today.
Mind the hours
The stores keep very different schedules. Barthman is weekdays only, Eiseman closes at 5, and in Dallas only the Galleria store opens on Sundays. Check the hours on each listing before you go.
